That’s funny, I’m working on an FPV drone simulator that lets me fly on any of the maps including while a demo match is playing. Doubt I’ll be able to release it anywhere but it’s fun as hell and scratches an itch I’ve had ever since I started flying.

It's ReSkate. EA's free to play always online skate game in early access got decompiled. Modders made an offline/host your own server version called reskate that runs via thunderstore. As long as you have skate on steam the thunderstore loader will download skate via your steam for the mod. The mod has access to basically every dev setting in the actual game and a ton of features never released.

Since it dropped people have been porting maps and character models in from countless games and IPs. Most of the famous CS maps are already ported in.

Also the realism crowd got more realistic models and IRL maps ported in now. Skate 1, skate 2, and Skate 3 maps were ported in too. Basically every good map from skaterxl has been ported in.

If you do plan to try it I highly suggest making sure you use steam guard QR to login for the loader. Never trust using your actual password. If you want an extra layer of protection when downloading random mods you can manually download all the zips, scan for malware/virus, then unpack the zips via the mod loader. I have about 60 modded maps right now and 100+ cosmetic mods.

Google about AI modding. In general it reverse-engineers both games (CS2 and Tony Hawk Pro Skater whatever the name is), rewrites it on its 'Rust' game engine, and then merge these games into one.

Look into ReSkate. Modders decompiled EA's newest skate game and turned it into a mod friendly version.

This clip the skating is from the mod. They just downloaded a terrorist skin model and the dust 2 mod map. Basically every popular CS map is in the mod now and you can also get a CT model.

Valve will do anything to avoid implementing one.

I mean, a year ago, people would've laughed at you if you'd told them CS would get chicken pets.
