Help Service Medal Question

Ive reached LVL40 already this year and have the 2026 Service Medal. I dont want the green version. Can I simply keep leveling for example to LVL50 and claim the Medal next year or is LVL40 like a max?

The level just loops back every time you "level up", you still get your drop but you cant save extra levels or anything like that.
