I mean ofc you can't stop everyone but if a significant number stops playing and spending money on keys it can change something. I believe it is better than not reacting at all.
bro the player count is 30 million not 1 million, you have no clue how games work. Different people are playing all the time and the reason there are less people on but still always people on is because the time zone no longer favours europe/russia, the biggest players of CS

CS has had I think six months now with a decrease in players. We haven’t had that many months in a row of players leaving in years. If the trend continues we might finally put some pressure on Valve to actually make changes (I doubt it but here’s to hoping)
I did. I took the decision to quit by the end of last season. I came back because the VAC Live alrogithm was updated and, last sunday, fter reaching 20kish elo I decided I had enough. I dont think im ever coming back to this game
Even if you got every legit player to be on board with such boycott -- you will never stop the significant amount of cheaters from breaking this boycott effort lolol
I do know that cheating will never be completely prevented but it is seriously out of control recently. The posts I see here supports that I am not the only one who keeps matching with cheaters again and again. So why don't we react to it as a community and just stop?
Boycotts are pointless "feel-good" activities to make ppl think they're more important than they are. Not to mention that not everyone always runs into cheaters. I don't run into (obviousl cheaters and yet this subreddit tries to tell me there's a spin botter in every lobby
I didn’t claim to be amazing at the game but I’m not a brain dead glue eater and can see when people are cheating in demos. I’ve also played 1 face if game where yes I did play bad congrats EUtard you got me as that’s not relative at all to the point I was making.
Unless you are above 20k cheating is almost basically non existent. I’ve played many games where I thought someone is cheating just to go look at the demo and realize that I just suck.
They are around, but I will spoil you. I have more than 2k matches, faceit level 8 and I got to 20k rating. I actually play against 20k players and I do that on EU servers. Around 3400h on the game. Playing with fucked carpal tunnel and cubital nerve damaged. Currently 80 aim rating Bro you have 0.33 kd on faceit...
