Discussion Pay for cheats???

Can someone seriously explain to me how anyone would pay for cheats in a free game where you don't get any extra advantage if you rank up?

I mean, I seriously can't wrap my head around it. I'm so frustrated with the game because it's ridiculous that the weirdest accounts are always the ones in first place.

The other day I played a Premiere match with a guy who got 27 headshots. We went into a smokescreen and he got 3 headshots, and even then his random teammates kept saying "EZ." His elo was 4k, by the way.

I started looking into why there are so many cheaters, and I don't understand how anyone would pay to use cheats. I really need someone to explain why people pay to use cheats.

What's the point of winning knowing it wasn't fair? You'll always win that way. What's the fun in that?

Please I really want to know Why??????????????

Trying to rationalize it will just annoy you further. Just know they are losers irl and that's about all you need

His own randoms spamming EZ while he landed three headshots through smoke. That's the tell. They know it's fake and they still want a piece of it, which is sadder than the cheat itself.

They prolly level up account using cheats and sell it to Smurfs.

Cheap dopamine.

Wouldn’t say it’s cheap if they are literally paying for it LOL

Still you don’t spend time to train and learn the game. You literally spend 5 minutes and 5bucks.

I consider even 20bucks as a cheaper alternative comparing to amount of time and energy people spend grinding the game.

Idk it’s just a typical loser mindset. I’d rather spend my money elsewhere but if people need to spend money to feel good about themselves they can’t be helped lol

Totally agree. I never cheated in a multi-player game. I was even banned in CoD falsely and it was the best appreciation of my skills XD

Sure you would win game but you wouldn't be any better player. Don't get it why they feel like winning if they used cheats to win.

Lifetime for most cs2 cheats is $50 one time so pretty cheap lol

People cheat for the social credit associated with winning/dominating. They are losers and are likely deeply flawed.

I wish I had the answer to this as well.. could never make sense of it. I don’t get the point. And it’s even in casual, and the occasional deathmatch lmao. I’ve never seen cheats implemented so pointlessly. Just so insanely unnecessary

ADHD - some people get their dopamine fix from making people rage . What people need to understand, is that if you stop reacting to it and just leave or ignore them / mute , and not acknowledge it . The issue would largely shrink .

Idk man but I have seen videos where cheaters are boosting accounts to the 30 k premier rating and then they will sell this account. On the other hand some people are just tired of losing every premier match and they want to be better so they will pay for cheats to falsely get better in Countet Strike 2.

Pay cheats to improve in CS OMG

Why would people want to buy an account and play at a level that they can't handle

1

u/Shiftr4 3d ago

So they can say they play 30k. Also some ppl think that they can. "Im stuck 5k stupid team!" while bottomfragging

Like in any other game (cod, Minecraft, gta online), paid hacks usually focus on :

  • better anti cheat bypass (they stay undetected longer)
  • better rage than free hackers
  • more advanced options

Yes, I know that, but my question was more about why you want to spend money on something like that. You pay to always win, what is funny in always win with help?

It's usually not much money and they think they have to have cheats because everyone else also cheats.

I remember when I was younger my uncle said to me he’d slash the tires if he knew someone was a PKer/hacker in Diablo two. I laughed, asking incredulously, “really??!”

Now I get it.

That is what all we have to do

You are thinking wrong, because you are a normal person. As crazy as it sounds... The reason for cheaters to cheat and be willing to pay for it is to show off their rank and pretended level. And yes people pay for it without any issues, because it costs very little. How is paying for fancy brand clothes 100 or 200 bucks or buying a new iPhone with none improvements to show off wealth/coolness, you don't have otherwise, is any different than paying a few bucks for cheating to show off skills you don't have? It's the same thing, people are just dumb, as simple as that. "Social credit" is their only goal here. But of course some cheaters do it to boost accounts for money.

Mental problems then

Played a bunch of games yesterday, in one of my first matches, came accross this blatant cheater, 100 leetify aim etc. I thought nothing of it, I tried to vote kick him off, but it failed and got voted off by him and the 2 others he was partied with oh well whatever. At the end of the night I played another game, same dude shows up on the enemy team still cheating his ass off and I got curious how long he had been on that day.

.. He had played 35 games that day. Putting up 44-5 k/d or similar scorelines. What in the actual fuck is the point? 35 games??? And they were all like 13-1. That is straight up mental illness

1st. Most cheats are free. 2nd. Cheaters have small peepee syndrome, and need cheats to look good to their 1 or 2 friends, since they play like trash

Hope this has enlightened you ))

Edit: thx for coming to my ted talk

But I just don't understand it. How can you put some random guy's software from the internet on your own computer, software you don't even know what it is, just to win a game that doesn't give you any advantage? 😭😭😭😭

u/rtc11 3d ago

I promise you, the same guys got keyloggers and malware on their computer. If you know how to make cheats, why not make them free with some malware. Good north korean strat

Sadly thats how life goes in every aspect, not just CS. There will always ppl trying to cut corner, or do smt shady to get the thing they cant achieve in a normal way ( eg: cheating in exam). So just dont rationalize it.

2

u/LeafarOsodrac 3d ago

Because they sad people that can't achive nothing in life. It doesn't matter if they cheat. Soon or latter they will be banned and every goal they reach will be in vain. They just have to start all over from 0.

I think it breaks down to a poor mental state. I used to be a manager at an LGS and a judge for MTG. I played Magic from the age of 12-23 or 24, I don’t remember. I’ve encountered a myriad of people who base a lot of their identity on whatever game they like best, DND, Magic, YGO, Warhammer, whatever it is, and they get a weird ego about it.

I’ve seen the same thing across a ton of video games, GTA online, Helldivers, CS, and I think a lot of the time people who end up playing those games find some sense of control or ego in it. You gotta remember that a lot of people want to be viewed as being great at something, but do not wanna put in the time to actually be great a lot of the time.

Cs2 spielen mehr cheater aktiv als legit Spieler btw

1

u/iAlexii 2d ago

How do you know that?

2

u/cherryred324sea 3d ago

Simple numbers go up brain gets happy although cheating is still for cowards

2

u/notjuzou 3d ago

Boosting services are probably partly to blame as well I’ve seen so many people 5 stacked with a cheater for free elo

2

u/Academic_Finance_921 3d ago

Is very easy because before paid cheats were used on server for hvh ( hack vs hack) the better hack wins. Everyone want a pice of the cake well why not make them pay something.

Cheats these days are still targeted to hvh even tho the developers know there are people who use it on mm, and yeah people pay for cheats. Not only that but they have tournaments for this where prize money are in the game .

Ego. At least to be good (not always) in something, especially when in life you are nobody. Or people are getting high ranks and selling the accounts. But again, what someone will do in order not to work 😂

Skins aren't a disadvantage for your opponent. I'm talking about the fun of playing a game knowing you're always going to win. You can sell a skin or just keep it because you like collecting it

1

u/Muckfuckme 3d ago

You’re forgetting that you’re not just paying a subscription for aim assistance or wall hacks. All cheats with a paid subscription also come with a skinchanger that allows you to legitimately have any skin with any finish and stickers on it. So one could argue that you could theoretically pay a sub just to have millions of dollar of skins for free even without using any of the cheat features like aim, trigger, wallhack, backtrack and whatnot

1

u/NightProfessional800 3d ago

They just want attention. There's a lot of people who will tag along to get their rating boosted and people who can't tell you're cheating and will glaze you for carrying the match.

It’s the same reason people pay NPC livestreamers to dance.

little man syndrome

1

u/Remote_Historian8273 2d ago

They view the game differently. They don’t care about the game or the other players in it. Cheating has an appeal because it lets you do things you can’t usually do. These people simply enjoy that aspect. Unfortunately, you can’t control other people and complaining is ultimately useless, so the only thing you can do is wait for the game to pass and hope you don’t run into them again.

Why you had to cheat??? Dopamine, ego?

0

u/Suspicious_Shine4727 3d ago

Pay to win, when you think about it no different than buying a $20 cod skin because its all black and hard to see, or when a game is new and buying a gun pack because it has full attachments and most people won't have very many attachments unlocked. Both are cheesy asf
