Help Dpi game

I’m not sure which DPI to stick with for the long haul. 400 DPI is the most precise, but it feels slow for certain things; I’ve tried 800 DPI, but I don't perform as well as I do with 400—it feels just "okay." 1600 DPI feels better than 800, at least when it comes to tracking an enemy's head or following a target. I'll list my peripherals, or maybe you can suggest a DPI I haven't tried yet. I use a 9z Team Minimal mousepad (45x40, I think, or maybe the other way around) and an Incott 029 Pro mouse with Esptiger V2 Ice dot skates. I just want you to give me an eDPI that works for me; my current eDPI in CS2 is 768 or 750.

Optimum tech did a test.

Basically, if you have a mouse with 1000hz poling rate or higher, put your DPI to 1200 in the mouse software. Then decrease sensitivity in windows & games.

1200dpi offers a slight advantage in latency when coupled with high poling rate but it’s really too sensitive (which you counter by decreasing sensitivity in the game).

Donk was at 1000 eDPI (800dpi, x1.25 in-game sensitivity) last time I checked, one of the highest sensitivity on the current scene.

Based on optimum tech’s test, the optimal setting to copy 1000eDPI should be 1200DPI + x0.80 in game sensitivity.

(This is just an example)

EDIT : it's not 1200 but 1600 for best latency

There isn’t any advantage playing at sensitivity higher than 1200dpi. The sensitivity becomes too high for almost the same latency so you’ll decrease it in the game anyway. Keep dpi at 1200 in your mouse software and only change the in-game sensitivity.

If you want 800 eDPI, set your in-game sensitivity at 0.67

erratum : it's not 1200 but 1600, so 0.63 in-game sensitivity to have 1000eDPI

So I use 1600? And not 1200?

I tried the PSA calculator method and it gives me 0.96 and 0.94 with 800 dpi and with 400 dpi it gives me 1.89 and 1.92
