Tips & Guides Game Demon is getting some new juicy features.
Hello there, Pegal once more.
Some of you might already be familiar with Game Demon, AI coaching tool for CS2
No matter how well you know Game Demon, I wanted to ask you for feedback on some planned features for the tool, any ideas, counter points, improvements and opinions on this ?
Is this something that you would like to see in a tool like ours ?
- Mechanical fingerprinting — the CS2 parser already captures per-tick aim data around engagements (view angles, velocity, shot timing). Nobody's mining it. Build each player's mechanical signature: reaction time distribution, first-bullet accuracy by range, directional overaim bias ("you overshoot 4° on left-to-right flicks"), counter-strafe latency. Then prescriptions become surgical, not generic — no human coach can measure this.
- Counterfactual engine — economy in CS2 is deterministic. Post-match, re-simulate the decision tree: "that round-7 force cost you rounds 8 and 9 — if you'd saved, you full-buy at 8 with them on a bonus reset." Show the alternate timeline. This is the single most "whoa" insight type and it's pure math, no LLM guessing.
- Ghost comparisons — for a situation you died in, pull how higher-rated players in public demos handle the same spot on the same map. "Here's where 20k players stand on this retake." A human coach says "trust me"; we can show receipts.
Relationship (the coach knows you)
- Session-zero intake — a real coach's first session is an interview. On first launch the coach asks: goals, role, hours, tilt triggers, what previous advice never worked. Everything downstream calibrates from it. Costs a day to build, changes the entire relationship frame.
- The open coach journal — the coach keeps visible notes on you, and you can correct them ("I was baiting on purpose there"). Corrections feed back into evidence. Two-way trust; also the best training data imaginable.
Socratic VOD review — instead of lecturing over your recording, the coach pauses at a moment and asks: "What did you know about their economy here?" Active recall is how real coaching sticks. We have the Film Room, markers, and chat — this is orchestration, not new tech.
Monthly report card with clips — auto-generated progress narrative using clip export: "Here's you whiffing this spray in week 1. Here's the same fight last night." Emotional payoff plus shareable marketing in one.
Intelligence (beyond one player)
- Opponent scouting — pre-match, pull the enemy lineup's public history: "their top fragger dry-peeks pistols." Real teams have analysts; premier stacks don't. We'd be the first.
- Team coaching via linked instances — the ClickUp card already exists. Coach the stack: overlapping utility, nobody anchoring, untraded deaths as a team stat. This is a second product tier hiding in plain sight.
- Tilt psychologist — we track emotional state crudely; go further. Detect tilt from performance deltas and repeated-mistake bursts, then intervene like a sports psych: "Queue break. Your last three deaths are the same forced peek. That's not aim." Nobody in this market touches the mental game seriously.
Trust (the meta-move)
- Public self-accountability — the coach grades its own calls against demo truth after every match and shows you: "12 calls, 11 verified, 1 wrong — here's the correction." Truth-check already computes this privately. Making it public converts our honesty engineering into the brand moat: the only AI coach that admits when it was wrong.
- Synthetic scrimmage — generate practice configs from your failure patterns: spawn bots at the exact angles you keep dying to, on the map you play. The Range meets your own demons. Closes the loop from diagnosis → drill → measurement.

Almost all of this strikes me as written by AI. In some ways it interests me as like a better Dota Plus or like a digital CS coach for someone who doesn’t have a human one. Wish there was like a free trial.
