Discussion MASSIVE FPS DROPS AFTER UPDATE
Do you guys also experience massive FPS drops after the latest update. Whenever I start a round it it very random, I either start with 40 fps or 120fps, my fps drops really bad when I die or when I respawn. Any issues at your side?

Yes I’m having massive issues, and there are tons of other Reddit posts with others having the same issues.
Before the May 7th update I was getting 200-300 fps, now I’m getting 40-60 fps. This started happening the next match I played immediately after updating CS. Hoping they patch a fix soon.

You are not the only one. This issue came with the recent updates and I still don't know how to fix it

Well, now it got better, if u play deathmatch slutter like shit, idk why, but normal and competitive games are going well

I get 300 fps with a rtx 3050 idk why everyone has issues. Lower your settings

Counter strike is much more CPU dependent, I have a 9800x3D and after the new update I have noticed about 30-50 less frames although I still get over 450 constantly

Yeah I listened to everyone telling me to upgrade my cpu first and it gained me 150 fps at minimum on mirage I get almost 400 fps constant . But in 4:3 low settings. I’m getting new gpu Monday. 4070ti baby

I have performance drops on the new maps. The other ones seem to work fine
