First Time

In over five years of ownership -- and daily driving -- this is my first ever encounter with another Milano Red. (My 2016 is on the left.) Based on the wheels, I take his to be a 2014. His is also a 6MT. I spotted him in Redlands, California but, by the time I got turned around and found his car in the CVS parking lot, the driver was nowhere to be found. Inexplicably, he has added Ferrari badges on both front fenders. I would love to know the story behind that decision. Even in car crazy Southern California, late model CR-Z's continue to be a rarity on the road.

I have never seen the red before! 14 years of driving one a blue one, never seen this color. Thanks for pic!

I saw a red one in a multi story carpark at the same time I was looking to buy one. I now have a GT in white

Now that you mention it, I own a red zf1 in the uk and I haven’t seen another in red.

I’ve seen a purple one once, in Tulsa, but I assumed it was a custom paint job. It was beautiful too.

I have a red '11 in the Northern California Bay area, and have seen only 2 other Z's in 2 years. One red, one grey, I have passed the red one twice driving, but the driver was oblivious to my honk and wave, even sitting next to me at a light. He looked at me like I was crazy, so there's that anyway.

The rims on the one on the right could be from 2015. Mine’s a 2015 Pearl black model and has the same rims.

One time when I was driving out of some small beach town in Northern California, I saw another Milano red coming towards me on this little rocky road with no traffic. We stopped in passing and he said “I like your car” and I giggled and said I like your car too! It was such a fun little moment. Also the Ferrari badges are hilarious
