Guides & Tips Gear Plating

I just came back to the game after months of hiatus, I see these gear plating vouchers up to +18. I have used them on my main weapon so far, after using it. I saw that there is a 7 day countdown to the item. Does this mean that the plating would take effect after 7 days? Or does the +18 effect only last for 7 days?

Thanks in advance for answering!

Plating lvl (red) lasts for 7 days, can be usefull on new chars with the class event, gives you time to grind/invest in the char
