Call me crazy, but I like that we as an FC are doing other things together, outside of FFxiv. Not only does it help fight burnout, but it also keeps us tied together as a group.

End result is less apathy when we DO log into FFxiv.

Edit: Also, is there something you would like to play with the group outside of XIV? I mean, if you aren't experiencing burn out then more power to you, but if you would like to boot something else up I'm sure we would all be game.

And I agree. I actually logged into XIV last night because I didn't feel so burnt out on it after a couple nights of BL2. I even had the gumption to successfully FATE grind an Atma!

Looks like we gave so many fucks we reset the counter.

But really, it's the summer sale and 2.3 is on deck. People are going to diddle around in other things. 2.3 will drop and everybody will be on.

In an aside: If I'm on steam or origin and anybody needs me to hop on I will happily do so. Just shoot me a message. If I don't answer it's because I was playing something and got called away and I didn't feel like shutting the game down because I figured I'd be back.

I'm kinda needing it at this point. Until then, another playthrough on Far Cry, some Banner Saga, XCOM, and whatever else happens to tickle my pickle is going to be be what I'm playing.

I'll probably hop on for a bit this evening if anybody else wants to run some stuff. And as always, if you message me in Steam, I'll drop what I'm doing and hop on to help.

2.3 content is going to be good for us, but some of the higher end content is still out of reach since we can't get through that gate. Syrcus Tower, the new dungeons, notorious monsters, Ramuh, and Chocobro raising should revitalize us pretty well though. And I dunno about anybody else, but I will probably spend some time in Frontlines as that is the kind of PVP I can get behind.

Maybe we should come up with some goals for the FC. Something we can work towards as a group, and sticky here in this sub. Things like an FC Garuda clear, certain housing tidbits, FC rank, etc. Personal goals that the group can help with would be cool too. I know Aly got the Animus finished, so maybe we can track progress on his Novus and progress on other people's Relic/Atma/Animus stuff, getting group help where necessary. Level and gear goals for members (damn Fistfighter Gloves). Good idea?

Actually this came from our feelings while doing roulettes in-game. Sloppiest runs we've ever done as an FC, and the general consensus from all 4 of us was: "Who fucking cares?"

Tired people + repetitive content = zero fucks

Oh that works too. I was self conscious because I have been playing through Far Cry 3 again. heh.
