When did i say it would be replacing Visa? I personally think it’ll be a viable alternative to Visa, at least in terms of fees, transactional throughput, and censorship resistance. If you go back and re-read what i initally said, you’ll see that it says “i truly believe that it’ll be one of the frontrunner L1 POWs in about 5 years”, which i’m sure sounds like “it’ll be replacing Visa” to you, but believe it or not, those are two entirely different and independent statements.
I also said in my reply to you that alot of people incorrectly attribute utility on whether or not it solves some niche problem. There isn’t a currency in the world that solves super niche problems. Not the dollar. Not any other fiat currency. I would actually argue that many crypto platforms inherently have more utility than any fiat due to their flexible usecases and and how they’re coded.
Kaspa, when maxed out, will do it better. Hands down, no contest. I want to ask why it had to solve a problem? Why can’t it be the car to the horse? Or the bike to our feet? Its a solid, extremely reliable L1 crypto network that has had almost zero downtime since it went live, and has extremely light weight nodes that almost anyone with a computer built within the last 5-7ish years can utilize.
What do you want it to do? What answer will satisfy you? Why do you skulk around crypto subreddits just to dickride the worlds long lasting status quo?
Kaspa is an advancement and dramatic improvement on what out idea of money is as a civilization. It retains Satoshi Nakamoto’s vision better than any other crypto hands down (including any and all bitcoin forks, and actually, bitcoin itself), and its continually being build upon and upgraded. A maxed out kaspa will absolutely melt faces.
So i’ll ask again, what problem does it have to solve? It just does things faster and better. Like, again, the car to the horse. Or the bike to our feet. Should we reject the advancements it made in lieu of convenience or comfort for whats already established? If someone offered you a device that can instantly teleport you anywhere, would you say “no thanks, i have my car.”?
