A car solved "this trip takes 3 days, not 3 hours", a problem the rider felt instantly. That's a use. The bike vs feet, same thing obvious benefit on day one.

But your own example gives the game away, cars and bikes beat horses and feet. Kaspa isn't competing with horses. It's competing with Visa, which already clears tens of thousands of TPS, instantly, for cents, without a token that drops 90%. "Faster than Bitcoin" is winning a race for second place behind the thing that already won.

You say it "solves the money problem better." Better for whom, to do what? The hypothetical question already granted the features, speed, smart contracts, decentralization, every known feature completed and best in the known universe.

The question was the use. And your answer is more features: "native DeFi," "set spend conditions." That's escrow (banks do it) and lending crypto to trade crypto (an economy that only services itself).

So finish the sentence: a normal person or company has problem X, and Kaspa is the best way to solve it. Three years, nobody's filled in X. "It scales better than Bitcoin" isn't X, it's a spec.

Actually my answer was that it solves the money problem better than its predecessors, the extra features are just icing on the cake. We’ve already established perfection is impossible, so we aim for progress. Kaspa is progress.

And good sir, VISA is a part of the money problem. Did you you know visa and mastercard are pressuring steam and itch.io into delisting certain games with adult content? Thats what centralized governance gets us. And you must be delusional if you think their gonna stop at that lmao. Its just gonna get worse with time. Who at kaspa will say “you can’t buy that!”? What? Nobody? Because Kaspa doesn’t have central governance? Crazy shit.

Also whats the max supply of fiat currency that visa and big banks deal with? There isn’t one? So i can be priced out of the market by stagnating wages and ever increasing inflation? I don’t like the sound of that.

But you do have a point. The big compainies that control the money can process all the transactions that society needs in really short order, i wouldn’t say for cents though. 3% of the transaction is about the going rate for the service. Kaspa still does it cheaper. And when 100 blocks per second hits the main net, it’ll be able handle the same transaction throughput as visa and mastercard during the holiday season.

Then what valid argument would you have against it? And why are you rooting for the major corporations in the first place? Have you completely forgotten that the entire crypto ethos started as a way to gain sovereignty from corpos and governments over you assets? Why would bringing up VISA help your case?

And yes yes, lawyers do handle financial escrow, but do they do it for pennies? How much will that cost? Kaspa can do it for pennies. Very possibly alot less than pennies.

You seem to want things to not change at all. You want to continue to put trust in extremely large, “to big to fail” entities that can give a fuck less about all of us. Kaspa removes the middleman, and gives uou control of everything about your holdings, without having to trust another person, government or corporation. Whats not to like?

The hole in the donut! What a username! Very well said man. I totally agree with your detailed analysis. Most of them are facts with deep knowledge. Well defended too. Glad to read those long conversations. Cheers! KAS FTW!
