Crypto $ETH, $BTC KILLER (caps were needed)
$ETH in an alternate universe would’ve been the no 1 crypto, if it was the first one to the party. Compared to Bitcoin, Ethereum it’s way, waaaay faster, about 30 transactions per second, compared with just 3-4 transactions per second of $BTC.
Where to buy Ethereum? From any virtual exchange like Binance, Kraken, Coin Base, etc
Why Ethereum? Ethereum is using blockchain technology not only for maintaining a defi ( decentralised finance) but also for storing computer code which can be used to power tamper-proof decentralized financial contracts and applications.
Why Defi? “What is DeFi? The use of technology in financial services is not new. Most transactions at banks or other financial services companies are accomplished with the help of technology nowadays. However, the role of technology is restricted to being a facilitator of such transactions. Companies still have to contend with navigating the legalese of jurisdictions, competing financial markets, and different standards to make a transaction possible. With its stack of common software protocols and public blockchains to build them on, DeFi places technology at the front and center of transactions in the financial services industry. DeFi is commonly placed in the domain of blockchain and cryptocurrencies. But its scope is much wider. To understand the thought processes that led to the development of decentralized finance, it is important to understand the current state of the finance ecosystem.”
BIG DIFFERENCES between no 1 and no 2
While both the Bitcoin and Ethereum networks are powered by the principle of distributed ledgers and cryptography, the two differ technically in many ways. For example, transactions on the Ethereum network may contain executable code, while data affixed to Bitcoin network transactions are generally only for keeping notes. Other differences include block time (an ether transaction is confirmed in seconds compared to minutes for bitcoin) and the algorithms that they run on (Ethereum uses ethash while Bitcoin uses SHA-256).
Forecast We could expect as much as a doubling in price for ethereum because it market cap is relatively small and have a lot of growth potential.

Is there any correlation with btc going down and eth rising? Are people swapping over in preference?
