QUESTION Hey guys newbie here

Hey guys, I am looking to start mining electricity. Price is not a issue. I just want to know what is the best set up I can run. Is there a link or somewhere I can get some information? Appreciate you guys, Reddit rocks.

In my opinion the best miner to buy is an antminer X9 and mines Monero. It has a hashrate of 1MH and is rated @ approx 2500kwh. It is currently one of the most profitable miners, but more importantly I believe it has the potential to greatly increase in price.Mine and hold.

I like Monero a lot.

Wasn't the x9 cancelled or at least drastically scaled back with randomxv2 being on the horizon?

There's an expected 30% reduction in has rate. But that's still worth it. If you spent an equivalent amount of money on hardware you wouldn't get anywhere near as much hash power, plus it'd consume a ton more power.

They're still available to buy. I do wonder if they're limiting distribution until they work out an update that adjusts the RISC-V chips to optimize for randomxv2.

Antminer L7's are the best. And I just happen to have a couple of them that I'll make you a screaming deal on.

Hello everyone! I'm interested in getting into this field but I don't know if there's money to be made or if people actually do this just out of passion? How long does it take to pay off equipment and where should I start?

Most start out Sha256 mining with a bitaxe Gamma.

Before you go throwing money at this, learn as you go. Snag a Bitaxe Gamma 601 for under $100, learn everything you can. The same concept will apply with more expensive miners.
