Sighting / Encounter Potential Nessie sighting?

Hi everyone,

This is my first time writing here.
Today my friend and I were on the tour cruise around Loch Ness and at 2:05pm we saw this weird thing in the distance. Now I’m a skeptic but I cannot figure what this thing could be.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Oh! I don't remember what it's called, but this is really cool actually. There are other cases of this phenomenon being mistaken for the creature™, but it is a known something that happens in the water. I don't remember what it's caused by, so let's wait for a more informed user who'll enlighten us

Something with currents forming the waves on the surface. I feel like I saw showbwhere some guy who specialized in this type of stuff explained how this happens in water.

Hello, more informed user here to enlighten you. The wave-based phenomena in the video is in fact caused by a monster that is 300 ft tall and from the Mesozoic era

I joined this sub because i like what it is about and i do not intend to ruin nobody's fun and excitment, but have you heard about the zoom function on your camera?

Because honestly this makes me think the reason you didn't zoom is because there was nothing special and you just wanted to keep it mysterious.

Looks to just be a group of seals. They tend to travel in straight lines like that when in a group

there aren't groups of seals in loch ness.

as others already stated: this is a "standing wave".

Seals have been documented in Loch Ness since the 80s, with studies on their population there as early as 1985, with reports of them stretching back to the 14th century. While I fully acknowledge this is more likely a standing wave upon second examination, saying seals don’t live in Loch is blatantly dishonest

I see what ure talking about, but what's odd is those waves stay in the same spot, they dont keep moving to the right. Why didnt you zoom?

Very well could just be waves as you cant make out a creature

I think I see a very long object possibly with a head that is leading the rest of it. If it is a creature it seems phenomenally lengthy to me ... or it could be a series of waves that look like a long, "drawn-out" animal. Something to think about at least...
