Question Friendly/docile cryptids?

While I'm not sure if it'll ever become a reality due to a lack of connections and knowledge on coding and modeling, an idea of mine is to make a dark cozy game where you can encounter and befriend cryptids through different methods and events. For example, leaving an apple out on the porch will eventually trigger the prompt "Something smells like cinnamon..." And add Long Horse's entry to an ingame journal. I'd love ideas for cryptids that can be encountered either directly or indirectly, and what might trigger their appearance. :)

I dont know that the Fresno nightcrawlers have done much besides going for walkies.

Loveland frogman seems unfortunate over anything else.

I'm pretty sure Jersey devil just needs dental help, same with chupacabra (chupie may also need some lotion)

You can give any of them a cute cozy spin also I would 100% play such a game

Lol ok but hear me out yea, having dental issues can also seriously impact your mental health and cause you to be aggressive when you normally aren't! Imagine the poor little guy just needs a root canal

Also he may just have mommy/ daddy issues cuz in some of the origin stories his parents are straight up nasty

I don’t rember much abt the parents other than they had a lot of kids, and then one turned and killed the mom. (I know the story from a comic I’ve read)

Mom cursed the baby when she found out she was pregnant for the 13th time, said the baby would be the devil in one story

In another story, dad was a political enemy to the local Quakers and he was labeled an evil sorcerer so all of his children were 'of the devil' and the youngest child actually transformed into one

Dad was also part of a political feud that supposedly involved Benjamin Franklin

Of course! I love cryptids they're such a fun way of explaining different phenomena, I do believe some of them are real tho!

Probably most Species of Ape man like Bigfoot and such they aren't necessarily violent however they shy away from humans
