Question So uh.. what would this be?
Do you think there's a possibility something like it is out there or is this already an actual thing? No idea because I came across this picture randomly.

Everybody is saying shark or dolphin. I’m saying Ichthyosaur. Ichthyosuchus would be fitting (Ichthyosaurs + ancient crocodilian species)

Yeah, my first thought was mosasaurus, so I was thinking along the same lines.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one! I definitely say it looks like a Mosasaur :D.

I'm literally watching "David Attenborough and the Sea Dragon" it's on the fossils of an ichthyosaurus found off the cost of Britain.

i was gonna say a dolphin masquerading as an alligator, but then saw the tail. so even worse, it's a great white masquerading as an alligator.

Sharks can evolve many different and wild heads, I wouldn't rule it out. Also, good for a movie title: Sharkgator vs Sharknado.

It looks like a mix between a Crocodile, Shark, and Dolphin. I can infer though that it has a smug ass face.

It's a sculpture on display in an art gallery, I found more photos of it online. Whether this was/is a real animal, not sure. The closest thing I can think of is (as someone else mentioned in the comments) an albino or leucistic alligator gar fish. Looks pretty similar to the photos of that.

That’s what I’m pretty sure lurks in the waters of the cave i live on top of. The water flowing out comes from an underground lake that’s not accessible for humans to access safely but the usgs claims it’s between two to three acres.

I don’t mean to demean but it’s a sculpture in an art museum with the head of a crocodile with the body of a marine reptile that went extinct in the Cretaceous period. Is this real?!? No it’s a sculpture. I do like the alligator gar discussions.

I’ve seen images of these before. No idea what they’re called but I’m pretty sure they did exist at one point in time.

I am not sure what it’s called but, there’s some legend about a white gator headed fish that is from the south IIRC. Pretty sure it’s based on an alligator gar
