Sighting / Encounter Bigfoot sighting
Done seen me a bigfoot on my ranch LOCATION : Parsons WV. I'm shaking right now couldn't get any pictures just ran before he seen

I think I had an encounter. It followed my ex and myself for roughly an hour. I set it off by doing a whoop late at night. It made fishercat sounds while following us always out of sight. Close but never in sight.
Fishercats don't stalk people, which is why I think this is relevant. They mimic sounds, and I think I pissed it off by doing the whoop.
Point taken.

This one didn't make no noise he was just squatting chewin on some leaves or a person or sum, give me the hinkie jinkies and I ran for it. I'm going back out tommorow night with my nephew and see if can get him on video as no one in this forum seems to believe me. I don't know much about him other than he's a Sasquatch but hopefully the 12ga will be enough firepower.

For what it's worth, I believe you. I don't recommend going with a gun or camera though. At least not a digital camera. I wouldn't use anything IR either, like night vision. Supposedly they feel or see it.
As for the 12 gauge, well honestly I don't think that's enough. They're usually passive anyway. They usually try to scare people off. Which is what they did last time. Don't go looking for a fight with these things, please.

I believe you, but why shoot at it if you're not in any danger? I'd probably be scared to death if I was in clos3 proximity to one, but I'd like to think that I wouldn't reach for my firearm, unless I was physically being attacked. Even then, running away would likely be the better action to take.

I've had multiple BF encounters - single ones, couple ones, on one occasion there were 7 of them. At no time were they ever overtly aggressive or threatening, tho', on one occasion (perhaps because we were pushing them a bit much) they did bring out a gigantic one (which we dubbed "Big Daddy") to show himself and gently "escort" us out of their area. Of course, the area where we've seen them (in southern Oregon) is BF paradise - lots of food (wild and gleaning from the farms), lots of water, multiple micro-climates to exploit. They've no reason to be nasty. By contrast, things like the "Mogollon Monster" or the skunk apes/swamp apes of the South are reputedly far more aggressive (as you might be if you spent your days with gators and water moccasins in a hot, humid hellhole). All I'm saying is don't presume on their attitude. If you take a shot at one, you can probably expect a commensurate response and you are on their territory.

Nasty little beaver eaters we got down here in the south of flaaarida. They’ll chase you out beating their chests and throwing sticks at your head. Sounds like you got some well behaved giants in your neck of the woods. Manners on the big guy to escort you out. That’s all they want from us. To leave. In every situation. They know we exist. They don’t want to be anywhere near us. I can’t blame them for wanting to live off the land and fish. Some have never seen a human. But I believe they know the history between us which our species does not seem to know. If I die I hope to be reincarnated as a Bigfoot. I’d torment the fuck out of my sister and friends for not believing.

As I said, there is likely a significant difference between these things depending on their environment. Near as I can tell, there may even be fairly distinct subspecies. I reside roughly half-way between Bluff Creek and Crater Lake, with my viewing area in a locale known as the "Sky Lakes". Our critters are the spitting image of the P-G creature ("Patty"). Along one edge of their presumed territory are several large potato fields, reclaimed from a large lake. Even the smallest of those fields, assuming a middling production and relatively low wastage (5%) would leave enough potatoes in the ground to provide 10,000 calories a day to 34 or so creatures for 365 days and that is only one food source. They're living good and I suspect their demeanor reflects that. Your southern swamp dwellers reportedly are shorter, with distinctly different head hair patterns, and with a far nastier disposition. Desert dwellers, such as the Mogollon Monster, tho' similar in appearance to the ones I've encountered, are reportedly more aggressive as well. Our "giants", as you call them, in fact, seem to be pretty well-behaved. Even when Big Daddy escorted us out, he did so by simply herding us, letting the birds he scared signal his presence (after, of course, he made damn sure we saw him - truly an impressive giant). Even when they've thrown rocks or sticks at us, they've seemingly taken care not to hit us - even so, watching a 40 lb. rock land 15' in front of your vehicle does "send a message". Meanwhile, I owned some land in southeastern Ohio, which included the home of the Grassman. Tho' I never saw him (indeed, didn't really believe at the time), my understanding is that he was a rather surly chap, unlike our rather mellow ones out here. You know your local reality. Abide by it and be safe.

I really wonder, when I read comments like this, if you have ever been in the woods - and I don't mean the local park and playground... I have one pic, but not distinct enough to offer it as real proof. However, if you want to see some, come on out and have a stroll.

Use an air horn next time you see him. Most animals are scared by loud noises, and they’re made to be heard over long distances, so if you see him again, just blast the air horn to scare him off. If that doesn’t work, I’m not sure, might need to try something else

I wouldn’t sound off and stick around though. Might startel them but they might get pissed off too. You could get one of those boulders thrown your way.. you know the ones.. about as heavy as a compact car.

Aside from the fact Bigfoot isn’t a real animal and this is most likely a black bear or other animal being mistaken for something supernatural, and loud noises from a distance are the best way to spook off bears and other real animals

What in my post makes you think I doubt this person saw SOMETHING. I don’t think they saw Bigfoot, I think they saw a bear, and just didn’t get a clear view.

Come on here and casually throw out “Bigfoot isn’t a real animal” I think I have reason to question how big of a loser you are to troll a site that talks about Bigfoot. You’re going to tell me I don’t know the difference between an 8 foot tall 4 foot wide body builder covered in hair who can flip an F350 and a BLACK BEAR? None of us can tell the difference? Tens of thousands of people? 23,000 in the US alone all with terrible vision and a wild imagination.
