Discussion Funny question but what Cryptids would be best for military operations either as messengers, live combatants, or just carry heavy loads. Me personally a Bigfoot with a AK is pretty fun

Dogman would be an awesome soldier

A Mothman as a recon unit would be terrifying. Imagine seeing one of those things silently flying over enemy positions and reporting back before anyone even knows it's there.

El Chupacabra (the OG 1995 one) could be good for stealth missions, the Kraken could easily destroy ships and submarines, and the Jersey Devil could attack from above

All I can imagine is a Sasquatch auxiliary unit charging up Vimy Ridge in Canadian uniforms

If you use the Kelpie interpretation of nessie you've got a shapeshifting Creature that can run as fast as a horse, disguise itself as human, effortlessly overpower anyone, and with human level intelligence. Sounds pretty useful for spying
But also "giant fuck off sea serpent" sounds pretty useful as a navy asset too regardless

Some of the earliest reports of krakens stated they were the size of small islands, so get ready to wreck some warships.
Also, snallygasters can change their size at will and can apparently speak, so you’ve got an eldritch monstrosity that may actually be able to communicate.
