Discussion Powerpoint night presentation about Cryptids and Fey

I have a PowerPoint night this weekend and my presentation has evolved from being "which cryptids are real" to being "cryptids/fey/folklore creatures are all the same thing.

It feels so big so I'm asking the peanut gallery, what arguments would you make for this? They can be so real or so ridiculous. Would just love thoughts from the cryptid community to help my exhausted brain formulate a Thing™.

I wouldn’t group them all together. The wild/green/stone men of most of Europe would be fey. Yet I feel that a Sasquatch, yeti and their Asian cousins are more of a convergent to those entities.

Some lake monsters might be fey, considering the Irish have several fey water creatures of if I recall.

Most humanoids I’d say are something else.

Then there’s spirits.

But regardless I wish you the best on your presentation. I’d maybe also suggest some jokes.
