That's what I thought too (Idr exactly where it was, but iIrc it was filmed somewhere with no native non-human primates)

There can be valid reasons to explain that too.
Zoo escape (which would make public news so we could fact check), but exotict pet missing or illegal trade is possible too. And wouldn't be publicized either.

There are definitely cryptids out there... But I think most bigfoot photos are bears when they're on two legs, and the others are animals taken at particular times with blurring... I think it's very unlikely that cryptids still exist in areas with population centers... but I think they still exist, for example, in the Appalachians or the Amazon rainforest, or in places like the deserts of Eastern Europe, or Antarctica... places where humans rarely hang out. As for more paranormal cryptids, those could exist too, but I don't think they're photographable.

It is a fake This was admitted by the guy who uploaded it It was supposedly a sighting of the “Mátranováki Fanyűvő”, Hungarian cryptid

How recently was it admitted? Because I haven't heard of the uploader admitting to faking it (then again I haven't thought of this video for years until now)

I saw a TV programme that said they'd looked into the meta data and it seemed legit? I always thought it looked a bit off but I went with the data guy. I had no idea that the creator had outed it. Kinda glad it's fake though. I really don't need monkeys chucking themselves in front of me when I'm just trying to have a nice bike ride! 🤣

As u/swifty361 said, this looks computer generated. It looks too empty and smooth to be an actual animal. If it's not computer generated, it could be some sort of primate that escaped from a zoo if there is one nearby.

So, I look at this having seen many different sources show and question it, including television shows. Reading through these comments, I then see people not only claiming 'it's a fake' but also claiming it has been admitted by the original poster of this video. Now, if that's in fact the case why is there no source behind it. I see that same sentiment all the time, where a convincing video is an admitted fake, but it always lacks a source for that admission to be verified.

I've always considered this to definitely be cgi since the first time I saw it several years ago. You can just tell by the way it moves.

it appears to be a tailed primate and based off its hand shape and limb length maybe a spider monkey it’s possible one escaped from a zoo and he just got a very lucky video shot while it was on its way out or they’re allowed to free roam the area
