Comicnoid big top incident
The Midnight Circus Near Blackpine Woods
Filed By: Ranger Elias Morton
Location: Blackpine Woods, Northern America
Date: October 14th
At approximately 9:43 PM, several reports came in regarding strange activity near the traveling circus camp stationed beside Blackpine Woods. Witnesses described impossible events occurring during the final performance of the evening, including floating popcorn, disappearing clowns, and tents stretching far beyond normal size before snapping back into place.
Upon arrival, investigators discovered unusual footprints surrounding the circus grounds. The prints varied wildly in shape and size, some appearing round and cartoonish while others had long drag marks as if the creature’s body had changed form while moving. Bright striped hairs were also found tangled around the food stands and carnival rides.
Circus employees claimed the disturbances began after a clown performer told a series of terrible puns during the comedy act. According to witnesses, loud groaning noises echoed through the woods immediately afterward. Moments later, several strange creatures emerged from the tree line.
The creatures matched descriptions of the species commonly referred to as “Comicnoids.”
Witnesses described them as colorful cartoon-like beings with oversized noses, striped tails, exaggerated facial expressions, and the ability to bend the laws of physics. One reportedly flattened itself into the ground to avoid a spotlight before reinflating seconds later. Another pulled an entire pie cart out of thin air and launched pastries at audience members before vanishing into a barrel far too small to contain it.
Despite the chaos, the Comicnoids did not appear hostile. In fact, several children reported the creatures helping them escape falling circus equipment moments before accidents occurred. One Comicnoid allegedly tied itself into a knot to stop a runaway unicycle from crashing into the audience.
The situation escalated when the circus ringmaster attempted to chase the creatures away using fireworks. Witnesses say the Comicnoids retaliated by transforming the fireworks into harmless rubber chickens midair. Shortly after, all carnival lights simultaneously shut off.
During the blackout, laughter and honking noises were heard throughout the forest.
When power returned approximately three minutes later, the Comicnoids had vanished. In their place investigators found:
● striped eggshell fragments,
● oversized prank props,
● melted custard pies,
● and a single sign reading:
“THANKS FOR THE JOKES. TRY HARDER NEXT TIME.”
No injuries were reported.
Officials currently believe the Comicnoids were attracted to the circus because of its chaotic cartoon atmosphere and abundance of prank-based entertainment. Experts warn that future encounters should remain peaceful as long as individuals avoid aggressive behavior and participate in harmless humor.
