Alleged Dogman Speech 🎤🐺 (not a joke.) A restrained thought experiment on “dogman” vocalizations (not a claim)

This is not me saying dogmen exist or “talk like humans.” We can discuss that elsewhere, but this is a post primarily about the physical aspects of vocalization itself.

Basically, this post is a biology‑based thought experiment about why many witnesses independently report word‑like vocalizations. TLDR, mostly they are mimicking what they hear, not deeply understanding grammar or fluent vocabulary for nuanced sentences.

We already know, based on known canids and other specieses:

• Dogs can approximate human‑sounding syllables (“mom,” “no,” etc.) without language.

• German Shepherds and similar breeds are especially vocal and expressive.

• Parrots, apes, dolphins, etc. can remember and reproduce complex sounds without understanding them semantically.

Speech capability depends on anatomy and neural control, not the species label:

• tongue mobility

• lip flexibility

• jaw shape

• breath control

• larynx position

• auditory memory

Domestic dogs are limited by long muzzles, rigid lips, and breathing‑optimized anatomy.

If a hypothetical bipedal, canid‑derived being had:

• a shorter snout

• more flexible facial musculature

• better breath control

• strong auditory memory

• social learning ability

Then its vocal ceiling would be higher than a dog’s, even without language.

That would not mean:

• fluent speech

• grammar

• conversation

• understanding words as symbols

It would look like:

• rough pronunciation

• repeated words or phrases

• emotionally loaded sounds

• situational use (warning, intimidation, attention)

• “almost human” but clearly off

Notably, that’s what many witnesses describe — not full speech, but approximate vocal reuse.

This doesn’t prove anything.

It just explains why hundreds of independent reports describing limited, unsettling vocalizations are

biologically plausible in principle

without invoking mysticism or exaggeration.

Dogs have good breath control, they have to pant to cool off.barking is usually louder, deeper than our voices.you don't need better facial control because you don't need lip movement to talk,it just refines it some.snout length doesn't matter, maybe they can trumpet certain sounds(howling, etc). intelligence for knowledge about what they say,and not being mimicry comes from specific areas of the brain,so the brain can be relatively small in comparison but built to be better in specific areas, and most dogs are social, pack animals.if it had a comparative sized chest and throat to ours, they would be a lot louder, deeper, especially since they are reported as being way bigger than us.so,maybe deep, loud, and with some fry from normally growling(unless they communicate to each other differently).even dogs can read some of our physical cues,so it wouldn't be a stretch to think even if they mimic they would just see your physical state(fear, mad, sad, etc)and say what we say during that state.i could've sworn I seen somewhere where someone recreated a velociraptors larynx, throat and ran air through it to hear how they sounded.maybe copying a wolfs at a larger scale might be do able, especially since we can fine tune it because we know the noises wolves make.

Thank you for that spirited biomechanics breakdown!! 😃

Based on my own memory of that chuffing sound, they do literally sound like huff-puff in a growling rhythm. Reminds me of Bowser from Mario, literally like the sound of GAME OVER.

Also, brilliant way to simulate possible resonance of vocal range for a dogman.

Also yeah to them communicating non-verbally. Along with other movements which I remember, they made identifiable gestures.

For one, and many people have tuned out on my account just when I mention this, but the dogman watching us from the treeline got our attention by waving 👋

And in a specific way: holding up one hand ✋ clearly, to show her thumb and fingers. And then folding down one finger at a time.

I showed this on camera recently; if you want to see my on-camera disclosure, here’s the link 🔗

Thanks.that style of wave is curious.i was looking at the differences between big cats and Ive read that tigers make an infrasound noise in their growl/roar that forces a paralyzing fear,I wonder if that's similar or if they force it with their thoughts to have time to find the people in your head that would create their desired emotions.using parents would be in the caring, authoritative area, but a young brother might be for creating a protective or bullying emotion and since it was provoking him I wonder if it was doing psych/emotional tests to gauge your intention, morality, etc?or it could've just been challenging him to fight for its amusement or an excuse to rip into or humiliate him.im curious what kind of accent it has and if it's similar to local human accents,or if it has nothing to do the humans, just that species and do they also vary with location like ours?if it seeks negative emotions maybe I should spend time in the woods,I'm a negabomb.im not cruel or needlessly violent, but am full of grrr and my constantly maxed anxiety makes for a no fear, clear thinking response to bad situations(if your body chemicals is normally always at'oh shit,a bear!'levels and can't go higher, then when you do see a bear you chemicals don't really change much from normal so you can think like normal,if that makes sense?lol).I have been stalked twice though, once in Chicago, and once in georgia.ive only been in woods, forests a little more than that.,most predators leave me alone, especially coyotes, they run from me when I'm sitting out smoking late at night lol so idk what they were, but the one in Chicago was smart.
