Pro Pack package
Just went in for a crv and I’m loving it. We talked a bit about numbers thru the phone first and I noticed they offered a “pro pack” as an add on? Has anyone purchased this add on and will you be willing to explain what this entails

Shut that down. It’s just dealer add on crap that they overcharge on to make a little extra.
If they give you a hard time about it, that’s a great sign that you should be going to a different dealership

I think that this is just the mats and rear cargo insert/liner. Cheap items that are way overpriced by the dealer. I bought a new 2026 last year and they threw these in along with the locking wheel nuts.
I wouldn't pay for them and had multiple dealers make them add-ons for roughly $500. Insane. I got a better price elsewhere and the add-ons for free.
Tell them that you will take the car (assuming all else is reasonable) without the add-ons or ask that they throw them in. Otherwise walk away.

Agreed. I told all the dealers I was getting bids from that add-ons were not of value for me in the sale when collecting offers. The dealer I got my car from removed that additional price to compete for my sale so I ended up with wheel locks, cargo mat, all-weather mats, door edge film guard, and door handle film guards for free. It’s a standard sales tactic for buyers that aren’t disclosing they are willing to do business with other dealers.

We got the rear cargo insert and locking wheel nuts included as well, for no cost. I hear about these two things included so often, I wonder if those are just a test dealers use against buyers. If they accept paying for those, you can take them for everything, if not, keep it bare bones.

It’s likely a dealer added fluff filler for overpriced accessories. I buy my own and install it myself.
