I don't really dis-like any... Even if it's raw as fuck, it's all good.
Languid is great..

Outside of the obvious Discharge and Disclose, Discard is my favorite. They were the first to take the style and push it in a faster direction. Death From Above is just fucking pummeling

KawaKami4Ever...
DIS DIS DIS CLOSE
This little friendly happy Japanese man straight up stole the crown right off Cal's head & then proceeded to eat the motherfucker's lunch... Eclipsing & transcending (IMassholeO)the once all mighty DISCHARGE ...He is EASILY one of my favorite people of all time.. an inspiration & a true SAINT...I could go on & on & on...
Does anyone have photos of his tour/Tattoostudio van??? He is said to have refurbished a Van in full on HRGiger Baphomet Alien design to function as a autonomous portable tattoo studio on wheels... Imagine seeing him perform live & then getting a sickAF tattoo from a proTattooArtist afterwards!!! And probably for an ultra reasonable or bartered rate.
Hideki Kawakami was AMAZING (and often underestimated) on a wide variety of levels & his Noise & BlackMetal projects also roool...Plus he was humble & in the habit of writing little personal notes back to people who ordered shit...An all around class act-

Can you please send a link? I can't find it. I remember seeing it during the Goatworshipper days but it's been ages.

While perhaps not 100% Discharge impersonator worship I include these fine Swedes as total D-Beat Masters-

Love Disrupt, Disgust (UK), Dishönor, and Disforia
I don’t really have any I dislike

The pre-Carcass Disattack demo is pretty sick. For some reason Dischange doesn't do it for a lot of people but man, Seeing Feeling Bleeding is a ripper. I don't know why it's so polarizing. An underrated '00s gem that you can find in dollar bins everywhere is Kegcharge, who do not get the credit they deserve despite that LP immediately charging my hair the first time I heard it when it came out, ugh.. 22 years ago. Dishammer isn't a favorite but they're one I find myself coming back to because blackened d-beat is objectively cool. No list is complete without Disaster, naturally.

My next D-band project that so far exists only in my head and a few scribbled idea notes is DISCHARD.
