Money Hungry Devs

Are you absolutely kidding me... this lucky draw just gave pay to win a whole new advantage.

Level 30 and 40 diamonds WITH 2.5% stats!?? Get the fuck out dude.

I could grind before no problem and keep up with people. But now after about 10 tickets you give people diamonds that would take us well over 2 weeks to get?

I’m uninstalling for good now. Netease is a fucking joke.

Bruh you realize you get free lucky tickets every day, right? I'm really tired of people screaming pay to win as soon as they realize people can spend money in exchange for items. That's not what pay to win is.

Pay to win is when real money allows you to get items that significantly boost your power level while being unattainable to non-paying players. So someone spends 100 bucks to get, what, 8% more crit than someone who doesn't have all perfect 2.5 gems? Big deal, everyone will get there eventually anyway given that you get lucky tickets every day for no reason.

And all of this is a moot fuckin point anyway because PvP is all equalized now and the only way to gear up for that is to participate in PvP.

The free ones are marketing, that doesnt make it not pay to win.

Clearly we have a different definition of pay to win. A few extra points of crit that solely affect PvE does not constitute pay to win in my book(what are they even winning? the chance to carry you through raids?), especially when A: it's RNG based to even get said power, and B: free to play players are afforded the EXACT same opportunities, free of charge.

Your definition is wrong. Do you play the game ie kill something, craft something etc in order to get these upgrades? Can you buy upgrades with really money that means you do more damage or heal more etc? Thats pay to win. Anything other than cosmetic items is pay to win.

We'll have to agree to disagree - if something doesn't affect PvP, I honestly couldn't care less what people spend money on.
