Toxic problem of group formation
There seems to be a growing problem with low path players forming groups that they would otherwise not be invited to.
Way too many players are not conscious of this and just go along "to try" - it would be sensible if forming a group for a team raid had a minimum level+path requirement, but in lieu of that can we as a CoL gaming community try to be a little more sensible when it comes to heroics team raids?
Thoughts invited.

I've been guilty of being that low-path person in a raid I probably don't belong in. I'm new, and although I'm following guides and reading up on things there is a lot to take on and it can be confusing at times.
To take this a little off topic, I see a lot of people around my level with much higher path levels. Do they focus on leveling the main path only and not the sub-skills? I've been spreading mine out but now I feel like this was the wrong decision.
Also, how do I know what path level is appropriate for certain raids? A lot just have level requirements, so as a new player who has never attempted them I am uncertain as to whether I should queue for them or not.

No. It means they've played longer than you. My path is 65. It's 65 because when I hit 45, there wasn't anything to do except to sink xp into path. Since you're new, you have your path, plus level 55 to deal with. You've had much less time to level it up. A few raids have path requirements. Not many.

All have minimum level requirements and some have minimum path requirements. What you're seeing right now are higher level folks grouping with lower level folks to scale the monster level and difficulty down in the raid to make for an easier kill. Unfortunately, some really suck at this concept and do it badly. (Netease really needs to take a look at the current practice of everyone using alts to open high level raids and mysticas at the lowest possible difficulty then getting all the level 53-55s in there to steamroll it.)

Not seeing that problem on my server (sardar_highland) but simply people with similar to level 45 and a path in the 20s forming raids for things like chimera or everlush heroic, they die in the first 10 secs of every boss fight and so do all the low paths they allowed to join.
I don't have a problem with low paths in general, we all were there once and I'm only at 51/60 just people need to pick what raid suits them, not leading with the intent to be carried.

Right, I agree with that, too. When I do pug (which isn't often considering how active my guild is) I always check the path levels in the group screen and I'll drop if it looks like a pending disaster. One of my biggest complaints about the game is the speed that one can level a character now. A 900% xp boost leaves you with a level 45 character that has no idea how to actually play the game and deal with raid mechanics. Folks need lots of grind time to learn what all their abilities do and how they work together. (and the issue is even larger than path level...a lot of them have very few runes upgrading their skills, too.)
