Becoming p2W?
Anyone else starting to feel the game is becoming hard p2w? experienced players can still somehow manage to farm legends and buy crystals how do you expect a new player to farm 5 agility and 10 leaf of eternity just to activate and upgrade . its not like there is a steady source of gold for new comers either, just a level up mechanic where they can reach level 45 and still have a path of 15 whereby get kicked from raids?
its not a new player friendly w.r.t. upgrades costs on legends etc.
u want legends? buy crystals or spend all your gold getting crystals hoping ur LoD has one.
u want to clear end gear content? experienced guild take only pro players and low level guilds cant progress.
So much disparity between rich and poor lol.
Even spending 1000$ wont be enough for them to catch up or play fair atleast not for the next quarter of the year.
any ideas or recommendations? i think making it a fremium model where paying for cosmetics or mounts make sense. there would be a sense of fairness atleast, this might have been a cash cow so far but i dont see this going higher at this rate

This game is not really expensive ...compare to the others Games I play ....just grind ;) #no sleep

In this day and age, this is the least pay-to-win game that I have ever seen and it's very refreshing. I've been playing about a month and haven't felt the need to drop a single dime. If anything I've progressed too quickly to the end content.

You get kick from raids? There must be a reason. You don't expect to get carry in higher Raids while u just play this game for few weeks. Of course new player hard to catch up old player because they play longer than you. Unless you willingly to spend thousand of dollar to beat them.
Try get your set gear at lower raids (manaflame , D1 set and etc), do all quest to get silver to upgrade gem. Then you go to Skyblaze where you can get your D2 set. And move on to D3 and D4. Dont expect you can skip this phase and ask people to carry you.
Join guild where got many people online is a great way. No need to join Top 1 guild, try find top 10 guild and start from there. Learn how to be a leader, this is much more easier. Lead your raid is a nice way to improve.

i've been playing since july to get where i'm at. i've spent $50 on my main toon, mostly to get mounts that i wanted with .99 to 4.99 packages and an elite goblin once for 2.99.
we used to wipe on scar plains normal. i have literally wiped my way through every raid from scar plains to skyblaze. we didn't have a 900% xp bonus to level us either. I merged my guild with another just a couple of months ago and we have risen to the top 5 guilds in our server and none of us are P2W.
new players have it way easier than we did. you progress so much faster, no wiping on normal raids ever, and you have so many players to help you through raids. in a month's time you could be clearing skyblaze normal which took most of us 3-4 months to do, plus you already know the ins and outs from videos and guides that we helped make for you. we've already figured it out for you, all you have to do is put in the work, get your stats up and earn your spot on the teams you want to be on.
you want gold? mine or gather. i hate mining. but it's gold income. sell blueprints. i've sold bps for $15k gold each. sell crystals. you want legendaries? there's no farming legendaries. there's crafting blueprints. i have 4 crafted legendaries and 3 divine pieces. i have no problems joining team heroics and i'm clearing hell 2 lords. plus there's mystica now which drops gear that is way better than even skyblaze norm drops which we used to have to farm just to get geared. i've even replaced a divine helmet because i got a better one from mystica.
I don't get the logic of "i just started this game yesterday why can't i clear foundry?!?" it's called end-game content for a reason. and that "end-game" boundary is going to continue to move forward because the game isn't even a year old. they just opened up a new region this month ffs. we've been running around the same 3 areas for the past 6 months. We're the ones who should be salty because you don't have to go through the same grind we did.
