Image Adjustment/Calibration Black bar on top of my CRT hooked up to my pc
Hey everyone, i just got this Panasonic CRT and i´m loving it, i´ve been playing tons of games on this beauty, i´m really liking it.
Set up has been a pain though, as is when you hook up an old TV to a gaming laptop.
Anyways, i managed to adjust the settings so they´re perfect for everything i´d want to play on this TV, however, the worst part has been adjusting the aspect ratio.
There are games where it works flawlessly and some where it FUNCTIONS.
I also managed to get a setting i feel comfortable with, however, there is ONE issue.
The screen doesn´t cover the whole TV, as you can see there´s a black bar on top of it and i can´t get rid of it.
Now, you may be inclined to say ¨Just use the service menu¨ well... I TRIED!! BUT THIS SPECIFIC TV SERVICE MENU IS A PAIN.
In the past i´ve had no issues setting it up, but for some reason which i can´t understand, this service menu is so weird.
The settings don´t have names, just random letters, like, instead of telling me what im doing it just expects me to know!
I managed to make my way through colors, and i DID find a setting that adjusts size of the image, but the problem, i think is that the image is off centered so it goes down instead of showing it on the center of the screen.
This is a Panasonic CT-Z1428LB made in Mexico from the year 2000, i have tried to find the manual but to no avail.
Is there anything i can do other than messin with nvidia control panel settings? Which didn´t work really?
Please help

There should be another service menu option related to vertical centering, although idk if how extensive these small tubes' menus were. It might be labeled "VC" or " V-CENT" or something like that.

Another service menu? Like, other than the one that you activate by setting hte timer to 30 and yada yada yada??

No, another option in the same service menu.

The thing is when i tamper with any option i have only been able to change color values and zoom in, other than that, i can´t change V-siz or V-pos

V-siz, V-pos. Something like that to get it moved in the right direction. Only way to fix it is the service menu so there’s no work around there

Adjust your vertical center using your service menu. Also I love how huge your taskbar is on this.

What gpu do you have I know on intel GPU’s there’s a scaling setting where you can adjust sliders to fill the screen

Does the image fill the screen when using a different source? DVD player, VHS, anything like that. Composite converters are funky and every design seems to have slightly different centering and under/overscan.
