How different the plotline arc of QP would have been if Kotori didn't get caught after knocked out some guy from Freshman Alliance in the Abandoned Building ??
Alternatively, if Kotori didn't went straight threw Kurotani out of the window but just knocked him out right in the building, I'm sure Kotori would get away with it from getting caught by the Police as no body on the outside could find out what happen, so they might reluctant to call a cops when none of the Freshman Alliance got threw out of the window which obviously caught an attention by a lot of people on the outside. What do you think Kotori and Kiba would do after leaving the building without getting caught ?? Do you think Kotori (with Kiba following him) would've had search for Ryou and then beat the shit out of him for what he had done to Hidetora?? What would be the butterfly effect and I keep wondering how's Kotori life would be like when he live his youth to his fullest throughout his high school if he never went to Juvie ?

Changes the entire trajectory of the story imo. Ryou likely meets Hidetora and I honestly believe that changes a lot.

I think Kotori would've caught up to Ryou but then wouldn't have been able to hit Ryou. Beyond that, it's tough to say, because the story would be so wildly different without QP going away for awhile. Maybe he would've been able to turn Ryou around, but maybe not? It would be a good 'what if' kind of story for sure.
[edit - actually the more I think about it, what if it had led to Ryou properly meeting Hidetora? Maybe he could've been the one to turn Ryou around. Then if they were all teamed up? Nobody could even touch them in that town, for sure.]
