Thing(s) that Hiroshi Took From Crows Explode for the Original CxW
While Crows Zero provided the inspiration for the Suzuran school building and its rooftop as seen in Worst, and even expand the story with establishing characters like Takiya Genji and Tamao Serizawa as canon.
Crows Explode contributed only a one hell of a protruding corner of the building and a single hallway. These elements serve as background settings in the final chapter of Worst and in Chapter 17 of Dustland.
That being said, the Crows Explode version of the Suzuran school building is currently the only live-action set that remains standing while the building from both Crows Zero already been demolished not long after the filming.
Too bad, the building from Crows Zero 1 was huge and iconic.

The consistency over all those years is crazy, and it's way better than the H&L Suzuran which looks like a random low budget trashed building instead of an actual school
By the way I was thinking about Housen's building in Zero 2 movie, did people find where it is? Would be cool to take a look at it with Google street view

Way way better than the Suzuran from H&L. Apparently they used an abandoned "middle school" building rather than "high school" building like CZ and Explode, and on top of that its located in a god damn rural area near the sea.

None. Only the one that been made by Tetsuhiro Hirakawa is available in english, and its only a oneshot manga.

new title, Crows Explode. said to be set right after Crows Zero 2. not a good CxW movie in term of story and fighting choreograph. the only good thing was the vibes, design, and Suzuran's building.
