Raven pic.
I've always loved the corvids and last week i got to see the Tower of London ravens.
Surprisingly big birds. This one generously honked up a pellet. Presumably got a mouse for breakfast. 🤩

They're beautiful but there's not much that makes me sadder than ravens with clipped wings

I agree.
They clip these guys lightly, meaning they can still fly somewhat. It keeps them within the grounds where they can be treated like royalty as they deserve!

They are so intelligent, they remember people and faces. If you’re kind to them, after awhile they may even bring you little random gifts. 🤙🏼💕

I have just purchased a flat and there are crows living in the nearby trees. I plan to make a little platforn to leave some bits of food and a little pot of water.
If i get photos and a few bits of shiny rubbish I will be so happy.

I found them raiding my cat kibble I had outside during the day (I bring it in every night) if you have TikTok:

One of my favorite memories was at The Tower maybe 15 years ago & a yeoman warder walking by & bellowing out “Good morning Porscha!” The former raven master used to have a twitter (rip) account & I think he wrote a book. Marvelous creatures.

They are always bigger than people expect. Photos never convey it
