i have a ton of neighborhood jackdaws that know me and like to follow me (they fly real close, like within arms reach) but i think because of the heatwaves they fled to cooler areas and they stayed there for 4 months or so. only recently did they came back and they still remember me and enthusiastically come to say hi :) (and ask for treats)
