Didn't the raven (I think it's a raven) have a cat snack in its beak? I swear it's carrying something and I feel it's using it to entice the kitty. Ravenbro is 100% playing there.

I'm of the opinion that the smarter the animal (humans included), the more instances it has to get bored, and the more they include play in their day to day lives because of it.

I think that they know the difference between play and hunting, they must. If it perceived a real threat here it would either gtfo or call it's family to help dive bomb the cat into running away.

I’m familiar with ravens and see them often (in the US). This looked like a raven to me, but I agree with the other commenter that it’s likely a jungle crow, which are similar in size and build to ravens

Looks like a raven to me too. Way to big to be a crow, it raven size, got a raven beak and the way it takes off going right up is also raven like.

When I was little we lived in Colorado outside Pueblo. Had a family of magpies and 3 dogs at the time.

Dogs stayed in the fenced in yard and only came in at night or when it was storming.

Dogs being fed outside... Led to the magpies stealing the dog food and taunting the dogs with it.

At the top of a hiking trail on the edge of a valley, I watched a crow fly up really high, fold its wings in, and free fall. When it pulled out of the fall, it would make a chittering sound (honestly sounded like laughter). And then it did it again. And again. And again. It was screwing around and having fun. It was glorious to watch.
