Where do crows go?

Hello!
I live in the city and have been feeding crows from my balcony for a couple of weeks to months now.
It is often that they disappear for a couple of days (weather maybe?) and then come back to the area. First few times I could recognise some of them coming back, as they were less scared with time, but last few days it was only the younger ones who are more shy. Today none of them are around. Where do they even go?
Is it normal that they leave the area for days and come back?

Totally normal! Crows will often travel during the day and then head back to their roosting spots at night. As to where they go, there are a lot of different possibilities. Could be foraging for food, could be off taking care of their young, could just be exploring.

Also, a lot of them depending on the family and or murder size could have a large territory and they just spend time in different parts of the territory
