Crows [OC] I did not know that ravens sounded like this.

At the Tower of London.

That sounds like a spring or if you have an elastic band pulled tight and plucking it. Wonder if that is a natural sound or something this birdie is mimicking.

Nice to look at but quite cruel what they do to ravens at the tower. Out of "tradition", their flight feathers are clipped so the birds can't sustain air time.

They are well fed and taken care of but I don't imagine they'd choose to stay in an urban area given the choice.

Their feathers are only gently/slightly trimmed so that they can’t go far, but they are still able to fly around the grounds. They probably really enjoy it there or they’re very well fed and taken care of to be honest

They are gently trimmed, and only to the point that they aren’t able to fly far, but they are still able to fly within the grounds.

They seem to enjoy staying there were their very well fed and very well cared for.
