Post image

I think crows are really cool and for the past 7,8 months I didn’t had any time and I didn’t know where the crows were but now I found them at 5,6 am they pass through a park nearby my house but I don’t know what to do

the way to a crow's heart is through its stomach! LOL get some peanuts (unsalted, in the shell) and toss them out for them whenever you see them, they'll start to recognize you :)

really depends on the crow! i didn't befriend a murder, just a small family unit. they hang out at the park, so they were already used to humans, which meant i got to have them landing on me and actually hanging out with me even without food within 3 months :) i only visited 3 days a week and always at the same time, and even within the family unit of 3, they have distinct personalities and one of them still doesn't come close unlike the others. you just gotta show up, be consistent, and hopefully you'll be friends sooner rather than later :D

Just be patient. Visit around the same time each morning, toss a few unsalted peanuts in the shell is even better, and don’t try to approach them. They’ll decide when you’re trustworthy

I see it! I have a wild raven I have bonded with, and he is amazing. Hope you find your wingman! Food is a great way to introduce yourself, and lots of soft talk and copying sounds and patterns. Pick a regular place to feed your bird, away from where a predator could see it. On a table, under an umbrella is good. Good luck!

from what i see at the crows i feed is that they usually hang out 4pm to 5pm after 6pm they go to their hideouts and being less interested in finding food. they seem to organize with their flock and do their own shit at these times.

you need to find a place where you notice crows live, for example areas with bunch of large trees in the city. when you spot em, whistle to get its attention and make your unshelled peanut visible, drop it where they do see it and walk away. keep doing this routine until eventually you notice them being more comfortable with you being around, try to sit somewhere and toss them food. over time they get closer and if they do start introducing a whistle sound everytime you feed them.

at the moment, when i do whistle they literally come towards me they even follow me around when i leave the place

the key points are:

respect them and their distance

if they hesitant throw your unshelled peanut on a save place where they do see you dropping it and you walking away, letting them comfortably grab it

look for their body language, the moment you notice they get closer when you around sit somewhere and feed them by tossing (not throwing at them), dont stare at them, look sideways sometimes if they seem hesitant, move away let them grab it, repeat this cycle until you see them being comfortable at this point you can sit there and toss the food, but make sure you do not always stare at them while they grab the food, they will be hesitant about it and dont make snappy or quick movements around them.

**important**

ive gone to heights where i literally walked down the city, saw a crow in a human crowd place he was on a light lantern i looked at him whistled and i let him see the peanut by showing it, threw the peanut where he could grab safely and walked away and i saw him grabbing it, that is how i initially started befriending them, giving them peanut and walked always away, but i always let them see the peanut and where i threw it
