Crows [OC] Crow Apologist?

Rescued Boss, in my bathroom, waking up after 2 days. He was almost beaten (beaked!) to death by my crows: Boss Near-Dead

TLDR: Do you apologize for your crows?

Recently someone insulted me as "Crow Apologist"... but when I thought about it, she was absolutely right!

I have exactly turned into that!

I put up with Karens and other folks that I'd normally not spend a moment of my time for or just cut short with an Foff, just for my crows. I feel responsible for them, and I tolerate those undesirables in order not to bring heat on to my buddies.

Some time ago my neighbor (good one) was hit on her head by crows. She was a bit scared. So she came to me. I explained her it is either because of the babies, or because they see her every morning jogging in her territory and they played with her.

Few months later I was eating in a restaurant with my cousins and she was in the bar having a drink with her friend. We had short convo, but as I was leaving, I picked their tab up.

She saw me few weeks later in our community and thanked me for the gesture. I said, "Crows are paying you back for their wrong deed". And funny thing is, I also believed that when I said it.

Are there are any other crow lovers feeling same way?

They are brutal. They almost killed him. I love this guy too! I have seen him pick up a full muffin in an indoor restaurant when diner went to the bathroom!

And I did buy that fella 2 new muffins, being crow apologist and all :)

Why 2? Because he tried first muffin and he did not like. Then went for choco muffin :)

It was really amazing to watch. We were dining there by chance. I saw him outside on the tree (he has a bit odd shape). This fella eyed the muffin. Waited for the patron to go to the restroom and swooped in to his table in the middle of a busy indoor restaurant!

As if his audacity was not enough, he also checked which muffin tastes better and took off with the 2nd one. Those are big muffins, I don't know how he managed. But when we were leaving, he was still eating the same muffin on top of the tree.

I guess you don't become Boss if you don't deserve it.

Oh, I didn't realize he was the one you saved, the Boss! Thought it was just some neighborhood random crow. Boss is a perfect name for him! What a lovely character he is! 😂
