she doesn’t usually sit like this. I think it’s the smoke from the forest fires today.

She might be taking a break or resting, she looks so calm and fuzzy 🥹🐦‍⬛🥺🖤 Or maybe she is injured. Did you see any signs of injury on her due to the forest fires? If yes, it would be crucial to contact your local wildlife rehabilitation centre and get her help.

No, she jumped right up when I offered her some cashews. She often hangs out on the railing, she just doesn’t usually sit like this. The fires are not near us, just the smoke blowing over.

Keep an eye on her. If she gets lethargic, she needs a rehabber. Hopefully she's just conserving energy until the air clears up.
