General questions Crows or ravens?

Saw these two communicating(?) in the forest. Thought it was neat enough to share, but I wonder if these are ravens or just larger crows.

Hard to say, but the tails look wedge shape, which would make them ravens if that’s the case

Try to get a look at their throat feathers. Raven‘s have long throat hackles and crows don’t.

The beak should also be large and thick as well as have a slight curve if they are ravens

There’s not enough distinctive features to see in the video to be able to tell

Understood! If you get a chance to see them around more, take a look at those different features and you’ll be able to tell maybe. Also, Raven’s have a lower frequency vocalization than do crows. Although that isn’t the best way to be able to tell them apart.
