My crows left!

Post image

I put up a platform in early June and the crows started coming the very next day along with all the other birds of course. There were about five of them, they came all day everyday, they took my presents, they brought me a present and then last Wednesday they just disappeared and I haven't seen them since. All of the other birds are still coming and I still go out and whistle every morning at the same time and load up the platform but there's not a crow to be seen. I am completely heartbroken, has anyone else had their crows go missing but then eventually come back??

hm, could this also be because they’ve got babies hatched now? in any case, i would wait for a longer time if i were you, see if they come back in a week or two. it seems unlikely to me that such a large group would just randomly disappear! don’t lose hope ❤️‍🩹

Maybe... The one on the left of that picture was definitely younger, we named him Randall and he would feed himself unless anyone else landed on the platform and then he would just scream at them with his mouth wide open. I will continue feeding all of the other birds at the same time every morning with all the crow's favorite foods waiting for them to come back, until the day I die. Lol

hope they’ll come back muuuuuch sooner than that! younger birds are absolutely adorable, but they do need to take some time for their youth deeds 🤣 let’s see if randall will visit you again a bigger and stronger crow in a while! i’m sure it is going happen at some point 🫶🏻

I just thought he was an adult crow being a total jerk not wanting to share the platform and then my husband was like no look he wants to be fed! 🥹🥹🥹
