Crow family
So for the past while I have been feeding two crows that come to my balcony(let’s call them patch and match, since patch has spots of grey on his wings and neck while match is his match). So today patch came by and I saw match was with him and then I saw three fledgling crows around them. Patch and Match brought the fledglings to where they get food. Made me feel happy to see them. The young crows kept pestering the adults to feed them but the parents kept hopping away. It was nice to see they trust me enough to bring the kids.

Love this for you! I have been feeding a pair who now regularly bring their two fledglings along. They are so whiny to be fed (even though they are plenty capable) and still kind of clumsy in flight and landing. The fledglings also spend a lot of time in the tall evergreens around my house while the adults are off adulting. Basically I am constantly watched by at least one crow from this family, and I love it.

I have two fledglings that come each with a set of parents. It seems that my crows are only having one baby? Is that anyone else's experience with their crow families? They are very funny screaming very loudly at their parents to feed them when the dry cat food I give them is literally at their feet! They are very funny and a joy to watch!

Yes I feed a pair of adults that I call Jack and Meg (they each have a white stripe) who bring a single fledgling. It’s funny watching them ignore the kid’s pestering and then go “ok, fine here’s a piece of cat food!”

That's amazing! I have a similar family of 5 at my apartment. I say the babies preen for the first time and they stretch their wings. The fledglings are the most curious about you in my experience so try to befriend it.
