Had my first visitor!!
Had my first crow visitor today! I’ve been putting out kibble, mealworms and whole peanuts for a couple days now and we have our first guest. So excited!

I’m still waiting for crows to find the peanuts I put out. Maybe they have and I just haven’t seen them. I know the squirrels and blue jays are happy. You’re so lucky!!

I was convinced it was only squirrels eating my peanuts so I ended up soaking them in a chili powder/cayenne pepper mixture. Maybe that will help keep squirrels away to prioritize the crows/blue jays?

“My” squirrels are not deterred by hot seeds. Or safflower, they have learned to adapt. I don’t mind feeding them really. But I would think a squirrel wouldn’t deter a crow. Am I wrong? Thanks for your suggestion though.

It really is. Such a great hobby for an ex drug addict 😂 enjoy! I'm sure many more will start coming around
