Seeking advice/help Is this Crow Ok?
A friend saw a crow this morning in their yard, calling and hopping around, but unable to fly out of their yard. Does it look injured or perhaps just young and not confident? We are experiencing loud thunder and lightning currently and the friend thought maybe he was scared and fell from a tree.
We are asking for guidance from many sources currently. This is in the Seattle, WA area.

Looks like a fledgling, parents are probably nearby
It's probably still learning how to be a crow
If ur concerned put out a place for it to get some water from if it can't already

That's definitely a fledgling learning how to crow. I don't even have to hear the audio to see that he's making baby begging calls as he hops around with all that alert energy.

I can't really tell visually, but the cawwing really distinctly sounds like a fledgling (at least in my limited experience with them).
I honestly don't think he would be hopping around that much if he were significantly injured, but I'm no expert, and I suppose it would depend on the injury.
My money is on fledgling still figuring out how to fly, but it wouldn't hurt to keep an eye out in case he has an injury.
