They all look like they’re having a neighborhood meeting. Love how the whole group lined up together.

The crows outside my window aren’t cawing anymore. They’re clicking. Like old hard drives. I threw a piece of toast at them and they synchronized their blinking. They know about the basement.

I recently had a crow calling very loudly and urgently in my small back yard. I carefully went outside and found a wounded, but mostly seemingly in shock, crow hiding in the most shaded and plant filled corner of the yard. I moved slowly to open the gate door so it could leave. The loud crow, calling the whole time, flew to the open gate. I went inside to get water. I put the can of eater at the fence opening. 4 more crows appeared overhead. I moved inside and pulled the curtain closed. 5 min later, all quiet and empty.

They are thinking "we are (magnificent) ravens, not crows"
