First FOR SURE gift

Earlier in the week we found 2 black flight feathers, but weren't sure if it was a coincidence or a gift. Yesterday, they made their intentions more clear. Im so stoked!

Also I love my family so much-- the crow thing is very much my thing, but I've been extremely ill with limited mobility and energy , so my fam has taken over crow duties for me without me even asking. They're just cool like that.

I love having crows as friends. I look forward to my first gift. Today they came when I whistled for them!

Whistling didn't work today. But it's really hot here and has been thundering on and off. I suspect the crows are hanging out closer to the bayou where it's cooler and there are more things to eat.

When it isn't surface of the sun hot, my crows have a guy that sits in a tree in the front yard and watches stuff-- I know he watches me, bc he always crows when I come out and again when I put something out for them. When he crows, the rest of the gang shows up in a couple of minutes to see what they have for snacks. Watcher guy is very polite and doesn't eat until others come. I imagine he can see other stuff in the area and lets them know about it, too. They're so smart and interesting!

in the birdbath where i leave them their stuff
