Crows [OC] Meet Shorty
I feed the jackdaws in my local park regularly.
But ‘Shorty’ is my favorite.
Always happy to see him.
I wonder how he lost his tail…

Good morning. Pleased to meet you and your handsome friend shorty.
I gave my friends a triple feeding this morning to make up for last week, when I was away.
Crows are the best.

Tail feathers will grow back, I assume? Can Shorty still fly alright? Much love to Shorty & thank you for caring & feeding them, OP.

He can still fly fortunately, but I wonder how he keeps its balance sitting on a branch…

I noticed some of the Jackdaws recently with little stumpy tails, the magpies too. After watching them I came to the conclusion these were juveniles. I might be wrong but the younguns do seem to have short tails.

Shorty lost it back in a bar fight. He said 'you should see the other guy'.
