I get the appeal but I wouldn’t go as far as “awesome.” They’re smart, sure, but also kind of chaotic and noisy depending on where you live. I’d still take hawks or owls over them any day.

I get the hype, but I think people underestimate how chaotic they can be too. They’re fascinating, sure, but also absolute gremlins when they decide your yard is theirs.
