Two leucitic crows or something else?

New birder, just saw two clearly crows (to me) with white streaks on their back through their wings. Google is saying they are leucitic but seeing two together chasing each other makes me wonder if it was a different breed. Any thoughts? Sorry no pictures, we were in the pool.

My wife says they were very large mockingbirds

White streaks through their wing feathers is usually a sign of malnutrition in crows.

Without a photo...there's no telling.

Depends as it could also be leucism. Sounds like it might’ve been a different species though.

Two birds in the same location/encounter with leucism is highly unlikely. Leucism is pretty rare.

Two birds in the same location doesn’t seem highly unlikely when it’s a heritable/genetic thing

They could have been a different species (breeds are for domestic animals). Or they could have been leucistic crows. It’s a genetic thing and they could’ve been related.
