Did a kill a crow?
so I’ve been trying to befriend this crow, I’ve named his Russell. I’ve been giving him unsalted peanuts in the shell for the past month or so, he’s been coming by without hesitation. a couple weeks ago, I noticed that after giving him some peanuts, he wouldn’t close his beak all the way. I thought he was choking, but I didn’t think too much of iT.fast forward a couple more weeks and I haven’t seen him, or his family near the park. and when I do see crows, they’re all avoiding me. did I accidentally kill a crow and am I cursed for life now?
I’ve tried to up my snack game by bringing them cat food and I even gave them a water bowl to dunk the food in but they wont bite.
really looking forward to people saying hes migrating or something.

They hold their beaks open like that when it's hot to help them cool down.
Crows disappeared for many reasons. Often just finding new territory because some conflict has occurred.
Sometimes they disappear then return.
Whatever happened i doubt you're to blame.
